Room 5; World Water Day

Our class has been busy learning all about World Water Day, which takes place on March 22nd. This special day reminds us just how important water is in our everyday lives.
We read a story about World Water Day and completed fun activities to explore the many uses of water and why it is so important to protect it. The children also got creative by recycling old CDs to make beautiful sea creatures, linking our learning to caring for our oceans.
We enjoyed watching The Mess We Made on Storyline Online, which helped us understand how our actions can impact the environment. It was a fantastic way to learn how we can all play a part in looking after our planet!
