Rm 10 Christmas

We had such a lovely run-up to Christmas in Room 10 🎄

We started off the Christmas fun by designing jumpers for the Late Late Toy Show and doing some colouring activities to get ready for it.

To say a big well done for all their hard work during Term 1, we had a hot chocolate party with marshmallows in school. It was a lovely treat

We were also lucky to enjoy a puppet show in school and visit the Christmas bake sale, where the children loved choosing some treats.

One of the highlights was Santa coming to visit the school, which was very exciting, and we also enjoyed getting to see the senior school’s Christmas concert. It was so lovely to hear the boys and girls singing Christmas carols.

The children in Rm10 have been busy practising their own Christmas songs and dances too. We learned a Christmas dance to Santa Claus is Coming to Town as part of PE, along with lots of Christmas songs — We Wish you a Merry Christmas (A Chairde Nollaig Shona), Jingle Bells (Bualadh) and Deck the Halls.
