It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Room 14

Christmas season has well and truly begun in Room 14 and we are loving the very special festive spirit in the halls each morning with the fabulous Christmas Art Display, music and lights!! Our class's elf, Buddy, been making us laugh this week and the children look forward to seeing what he's been up to each day when they come in!
We have had a busy few weeks preparing our Christmas art...Did you spot our Christmas scene of when the angel Gabriel visited Mary in the halls? Check out our enormous snowflakes and beautiful robins outside our door too!
As well as art, we have participated in many other activities. The children have loved GAA and Rugby this term. In maths, we explored the properties of and created 3D shapes and also learned about odd and even numbers. We learned all about Casino Marino, water conservation and the life cycle of a robin in SESE.
Today we have had the best day wearing Christmas jumpers, the atmosphere has been electric! We even performed Christmas songs accompanied by percussion instruments after visiting the Senior school's bake sale to buy treats for the TOY SHOW tonight!! 🎄✨🥳
