🐣 A Surprise Arrival in Room 10!

We had a very exciting and unexpected moment in Room 10 recently!

On Day 21, of our duck hatching project we were surprised to find that an egg had hatched. We had been expecting our ducklings to hatch on Day 28, as ducks usually take 28 days to develop, so this was a big surprise for everyone!

Very soon we realised that it was not a duck but actually a chicken!! There must have been a mix-up, and one chicken egg had been placed in the incubator along with the duck eggs 🪺 

The boys and girls loved this surprise arrival as we keeping waiting for our ducklings to hatch on Day 28!🦆
